On the prior episode tsunade the fifth hokage mention about naruto new technique which he afraid that naruto cant handle it. The new technique not only damage the body but it chakra release is a chain effect towards the cells, it means that there are no escape from death.
Kakashi also menntion naruto already surpass him, he became more matured and think before do something, know how to plan strategy and show to everyone this is new naruto.(i mean the personality).
